Dubey & Schaldenbrand was founded in 1946 by Georges Dubey and René Schaldenbrand. Dubey's love and devotion for his work, coupled with an unlimited talent and desire to reach new heights of perfection, made him a well-known master watchmaker and a prominent professor at the famous watchmaking school in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Technicum. Dubey partnered with his friend, René Schaldenbrand, who was equally experienced and well known in the watch industry. Together they were pioneers in the industry, inventors of the index mobile for the modern day Split Seconds Flyback Chronograph, and registered several international patents in the 1940's, which helped shape the Swiss watch-making industry.

Sixty five years later, Dubey & Schaldenbrand is known for creativity, quality, and superior craftsmanship. With the manufacture based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the Dubey & Schaldenbrand collection will be available in limited and exclusive worldwide annual production of 1000 pieces, with only 300 pieces available for North America.
